1 – Hire an amazing venue. This goes without saying, but it’s extremely important. You don’t want your guests showing up at an uninspiring, dull-looking room on your big day. If they remember anything about your partyit’ll be that, so make sure you book the very best. When choosing your birthday party venue, think carefully about your guests’ locations and travel times, because that’s often a deciding factor birthday party venues near me when it comes to how many people are able to attend.
2. Cake! For many people (us included) the birthdaycake is probably more exciting than the partyitself. Now’s your chance to impress, so don’t disappoint. There are so many fantastic bakeries around London, for example Hummingbird Bakery or Patisserie Valerie , who bake up some real treats. Make the most of the incredible city that you’re hosting in and opt for something showstopping. Your birthdaypartydeserves the very best venueafter all, make sure the cake matches.
3. Music. You’ve got to dance at a birthday party so line up some great music to get people in the partymood. Even if you don’t want to dance, you’ll definitely need music to set the mood. Check out Encore , the online home for musicians, and hire a performer to make your partyextra special. If all else fails create a playlist on your music service and hook up to the speakers when you arrive. Make sure you’ve checked with the venuein advance that this is going to be possible. There’s nothing worse than showing up without the right cable.
Booked Whole Venue at Vuk .
GREAT VENUE, LOVELY TEAM/ STAFF – you won’t regret booking here! To be honest, there wasn’t anything not to like – had a brilliant 30th birthday party! After my initial inquiry was unsuccessful as the venue had been booked over my proposed date, Theo (manager) took the initiative to get in touch again to let me know that it comes free for my 30th birthday party date. He met me at the venue at very short notice and was only too happy to show me around and talk me through all the facilities. Theo was also great on email thereafter – checking in re. whether I wanted drinks on arrival, DJ equipment set up on the night etc. On the night itself, Jake and his team couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Jake himself held the ladder whilst I strung bunting from the lamps and were just a lovely presence all night – smiling and dancing whilst serving everyone. Maria was great on the door – we didn’t have to worry about any gate crashers as she and her colleague checked everybody in on arrival.
